UPDATE: Authorities are urgently investigating a series of three fires that erupted overnight in Norway, Maine. The first blaze was reported just before 2 a.m. on Beal Street, according to Maine State Police Lt. Aaron Turcotte.
The situation escalated when a second fire ignited about half a mile away on Alpine Street at approximately 2:47 a.m.. As responders battled the second fire, they discovered a third blaze just down the street. Quick action by the authorities led to the safe evacuation of the sleeping occupants, preventing potential injuries.
