Sally J. Ifkovits, 62, Passes Away Surrounded by Family

URGENT UPDATE: Sally J. Ifkovits, aged 62, of Northampton, has passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments.

Sally’s death marks a profound loss for her family and community. She and her husband, Michael J. Ifkovits, celebrated 37 years of marriage, and she was a devoted mother to her sons, Riley and Alex, and a cherished grandmother to her beloved grandson, Paxton. Her family has described her as their greatest joy, highlighting the deep emotional impact of her presence in their lives.

Born on January 27, 1963, in Allentown, Sally dedicated over 32 years to People First Federal Credit Union, where she progressed from member services manager to card and ATM operations manager. Her commitment to her career mirrored her dedication to her family, showcasing her strong work ethic and nurturing spirit.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2nd, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Reichel Funeral Home, located at 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Northampton.

Sally’s legacy will continue through the memories shared by her family, including her brothers, Keith Rex and Kevin Rex (Karen), her sister, Susie Weber (Harold), and her brother-in-law, Garry Christman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly.
