The night belonged to juniors P.J. Haggerty and Abdi Bashir Jr., who collectively scored 52 points. Haggerty, recently recognized on the NABC Player of the Year watch list, led the team with 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting. He also recorded 10 assists, marking his first double-digit assist game in college, along with four rebounds and three steals in just 29 minutes of play.
Bashir Jr. found his shooting rhythm after a quieter performance against Missouri, contributing 25 points with five three-pointers on 7-of-14 shooting. Other key contributors included senior Khamari McGriff and sophomore David Castillo, who each added 11 points, while junior Mobi Ikegwuruka recorded eight points, a team-high six rebounds, and three steals.
The Wildcats finished the first half strong, leading 55-43. They maintained control in the second half, extending their lead to 22 points with just under nine minutes remaining. A driving layup from Kostic with 8:15 left pushed the team past the 100-point mark, solidifying a dominant offensive statement to conclude their preseason.
