Houston PD Urgently Seeks Public Help in Midtown Carjacking

URGENT UPDATE: The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is urgently seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects involved in a shocking carjacking and armed robbery that occurred near Midtown. The incident unfolded late on September 2, specifically on the 1100 block of Westheimer, where one suspect brandished a handgun and forcibly seized the victim’s vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was located abandoned the following day on the 1400 block of Hawthorne. Authorities have assigned case number 1152686-25 for reference.

Police describe one suspect as a Black male, aged between 50-55 years, standing approximately 5’7″ and weighing between 150-160 pounds. He may be known as “Charles” or “UNC.” The second suspect is also a Black male, but no further details have been released.

This incident highlights the growing concern over safety in the area, prompting officials to take immediate action. Residents are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
