Bryan Edward Carpentier, 81, Passes Away; Memorial Service Set for Oct 31

BREAKING: Bryan Edward Carpentier, aged 81, of Iron River, Wisconsin, has passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. His loss is felt deeply by family and friends who remember him for his creativity, kindness, and unwavering support.

Carpentier was born in Southington, Connecticut, and was the eldest of five siblings, leaving behind brothers Skip, Charlie, and Ron, and sister Sue. He is survived by his girlfriend, Margie, children Robert (Jenny), David (Susan), and Wendy (Jeff), alongside his cherished grandchildren Zoe, Kayla, Jacob, Skylar, Zachary, Rylee, and McKenzie.

His family was his world, and he actively participated in their lives, coaching and attending numerous activities. Carpentier also dedicated over 26 years to serving his country as a member of the Air Force and the 148th Fighter Wing Minnesota Air National Guard. His commitment to community service was equally remarkable; he was a long-standing volunteer at the Bentleyville City of Duluth Holiday Lights Display for over 17 years and played vital roles in various civic organizations.

A full military honors memorial service will take place on October 31 at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Saginaw, MN. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM at the AAD Shrine Meeting & Event Center in Hermantown, MN.

He will be dearly missed but remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of many.
