Drunk Driver Flips SUV, Arrested After Snowy Chase in Ohio

UPDATE: A 28-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested early this morning, January 29, 2026, after a dramatic series of events involving a rollover crash on Interstate 71. Just after 4 a.m., police responded to reports of a flipped Honda CR-V that had come to rest on its roof, only to find the driver had fled the scene.

Witnesses reported seeing the driver walking away from the wreck towards Brookpark Road and West 164th Street. Following his footprints in the snow, officers located him nearby, but when questioned about the crash, he denied involvement and attempted to walk away.
