Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Cars on Fremont Boulevard

FREMONT, CA — A pedestrian tragically lost their life Monday night after being struck by two cars while attempting to cross a busy stretch of Stevenson Boulevard. This devastating incident marks the fourth traffic fatality in the city since January 1, 2026.

According to Fremont police, the accident occurred around 8:30 PM as the pedestrian tried to cross mid-block, approximately 200 feet west of the Sundale Drive intersection. The first vehicle, a Toyota Scion, hit the pedestrian, who was reportedly navigating heavy southbound traffic when they entered the second lane from the left.
