Just announced, owner Mike Moretti transformed his framing shop, The Art of Picture Framing, into a vibrant pinball arcade after initially resisting the idea of adding a pinball machine. Following the passing of his friend John, who encouraged him to pursue the idea, Moretti embraced the nostalgia of pinball, leading to the launch of The Flipper Room.
“This is more than just a place to play; it’s a community,” Moretti stated. The venue hosts tournaments, fundraisers, and a weekly league night, attracting enthusiasts of all ages. “We’re learning from the community’s feedback on everything, from game selection to tournament formats,” he added.
The Flipper Room is also part of the nonprofit organization The Little Flippers, aimed at introducing children to the engaging world of pinball.
