Police have identified the suspects as 16-year-old Kiron Thirstan Curry, known as “Buddy,” and 15-year-old Persohn Finesse Mitchell, referred to as “P3.” Both are wanted for aggravated murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, minor in possession of a firearm, and shooting in the roadway.
The situation escalated on December 22, 2023, when police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Atlanta Avenue in response to a reported shooting. Officers arrived to find a juvenile, whose identity remains undisclosed, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries on Christmas Day.
Police have warned that both suspects are considered armed and dangerous, heightening concerns within the community. The area surrounding the crime scene is residential and located near Interstate 264, raising alarm among local residents and prompting increased police presence.
