UPDATE: Bagaduce Music has just announced the launch of its highly anticipated Second Wednesday House Concert Series, kicking off on January 14, 2026, featuring the joyful Gawler Family Band. This exciting new monthly series aims to energize your midweek evenings with a blend of community spirit and top-tier musical talent.
The series will bring together local and regional musicians across various genres, offering a more affordable ticket option compared to weekend concerts. Attendees can expect a full evening of entertainment starting at 5 p.m. with a Free Guided Jam session open to all. Dinner will be available for purchase from the Conscious Café from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., creating a perfect opportunity to eat, mingle, and enjoy the atmosphere before the concert begins.
The Gawler Family Band, known for their vibrant and lively performances, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Their engaging music features a rich tapestry of sounds, including fiddle, banjo, guitar, cello, and bass, all complemented by stunning harmony singing. The band, composed of John and Ellen Gawler along with their daughters Molly, Edith, and Elsie, along with Bennett Konesni and Ethan Tischler, draws from traditional music roots in Maine and the Northeast.
Attendees can expect a heartwarming performance filled with rollicking Downeast-style dance tunes, shanties, work songs, and poignant ballads. Anecdotes shared throughout the evening will add a personal touch, making each concert feel like a delightful gathering of friends.
