UPDATE: A fatal shooting on E. Magnolia Avenue in Knoxville has left an 18-year-old male dead, and police are actively investigating the incident. The shooting occurred just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday evening, July 14, 2023, in the parking lot of the 2300 block near Olive Street.
Responding officers from the Knoxville Police Department found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance at the scene, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the UT Medical Center. His identity has not yet been released as authorities continue their investigation.
