Lydia “Lilly” Zepeda passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born to Antonio and Petra Zepeda, both of whom are deceased, Lilly was known for her warmth, humor, and generosity, qualities that she carried throughout her life.
Lilly was previously married to the late Robert Jack Dittel. She is survived by their children, Robert Anthony Dittel (Kelley) and Kimberly Marie Dittel (Brian Nystrom). Tragically, she was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Christine Ann Dittel. Lilly’s legacy continues through her eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Family and Community Legacy
Lilly grew up in a large, close-knit family, which shaped her values and outlook on life. She is also survived by her dear brother, Edward Zepeda (Evelyn), and loving sisters, Minnie and Rebecca. Lilly was preceded in death by numerous siblings, including James, Jim, Elizabeth, and others, leaving behind a wide network of cousins and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Lilly was a pillar of her community, and her spirit touched many lives. Her engaging personality and the love she shared with others will leave a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Funeral Arrangements
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on December 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in West St. Paul. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service, followed by a luncheon. Interment will take place at Noon on December 26, 2025, at Riverview Cemetery, also located in West St. Paul.
Lilly Zepeda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The love she spread and the laughter she shared will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
