Khalid Announces 2026 Tour with Austin Date in June

Texas R&B sensation Khalid is set to embark on his 2026 “It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour,” bringing his vibrant sounds back to Austin. The tour includes a performance at the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park on June 19, 2026, as part of a 25-date itinerary that showcases the artist’s dynamic range.

Khalid will kick off the tour in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 16, 2026, and conclude in Berkeley, California, on June 26, 2026. Alongside his Austin concert, he will perform in Irving on June 17 and Houston on June 18. Notably, he will not be performing in El Paso, his adopted hometown, where he began his music career.

Rising to fame as a teenager on SoundCloud, Khalid gained recognition for his critically acclaimed debut album, “American Teen.” Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous high-profile artists, including Marshmello, Billie Eilish, Halsey, and Normani. He has released four albums, with his latest, “After the Sun Goes Down,” debuting in 2025.

Throughout his career, Khalid has received more than 20 awards, including five at the Billboard Music Awards in 2020 and the title of Best New Artist at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. He has also garnered six Grammy nominations, solidifying his status as a leading figure in contemporary music.

Joining Khalid on this tour is pop artist Lauv, known for his hit “I Like Me Better.” Lauv will accompany Khalid for all performances, promising to deliver an unforgettable concert experience.
