URGENT UPDATE: In-N-Out Burger is set to make its much-anticipated debut in Tennessee this week, opening three drive-thru locations in the Nashville suburbs. The first two locations in Lebanon and Antioch will open on Wednesday, December 10, followed by a third location in Murfreesboro on Friday, December 12.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for the iconic fast-food chain, bringing the total number of In-N-Out restaurants to 431 and officially adding Tennessee as the 10th state in which the chain operates. The excitement surrounding this launch has created a buzz, with eager customers expected to flock to these new locations.
In-N-Out’s owner and president, Lynsi Snyder, recently stirred conversations when she announced plans for the company to shift its leadership out of California by the end of the decade, establishing a new eastern hub in Franklin, a Nashville suburb. Snyder expressed her family’s intention to relocate, citing challenges of raising a family in California, sparking a wave of reactions online.
The three new Tennessee locations will be managed by seasoned In-N-Out veterans, boasting a combined 60 years of experience. Employees will start with a competitive wage of $17.50 per hour, albeit lower than California’s starting rates of $22-$23.
This expansion has been in the pipeline since January 2023, when In-N-Out first announced its plans to conquer the southeastern market. Further developments include a 100,000-square-foot office building, set to open in 2026 at 1948 Double Double Drive in Franklin, highlighting the brand’s long-term commitment to the area.
In addition to the three new locations, In-N-Out’s website lists another Middle Tennessee restaurant slated to open soon at 1951 Double Double Drive in Franklin, with plans to establish as many as 35 restaurants in the region over the coming years.
As excitement builds, food lovers and fans of the chain are encouraged to keep an eye out for the opening days, as crowds are expected to be significant. The official In-N-Out website will provide ongoing updates about future openings, including a new location in California.
Stay tuned for the latest developments as In-N-Out takes Tennessee by storm, bringing its beloved burgers and fries to new fans in the Southeast.
