Joe Manganiello and his fiancée, Caitlin O’Connor, have officially relocated from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The couple’s move marks a significant change as they exchange the Hollywood lifestyle for the charm of their hometown. O’Connor confirmed the news in a recent interview, revealing that while the move is recent, it has been on their minds for quite some time.
In their new home located in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, O’Connor expressed excitement about their surroundings. She described the neighborhood as “picture-perfect,” noting, “I’ve never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It’s just idyllic.” The couple, both originally from Pittsburgh, aims to embrace their roots while adapting to the seasonal changes that come with living in the area.
The timing of their move coincides with the cancellation of Manganiello’s game show, Deal or No Deal Island, by NBC. Despite this setback, O’Connor clarified that their decision to leave Los Angeles was not solely influenced by the cancellation. “L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” she remarked, highlighting their long-standing connection to the city.
Adjusting to the colder climate has been a new experience for them. O’Connor humorously recounted a recent scenario where she watched Manganiello shovel snow for two-and-a-half hours. She added, “And it was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.”
As the holiday season approaches, the couple is looking forward to hosting a “big family celebration” in Pittsburgh, inviting their parents and friends to join them for Christmas. O’Connor’s enthusiasm for their move is palpable, as she emphasizes the warmth and safety of their new community.
While they have settled into their new life, both Manganiello and O’Connor plan to travel back to Los Angeles for work commitments in the future. Their relocation signifies a return to their roots, allowing them to create new memories in a familiar setting while balancing their careers in the entertainment industry.
