Longtime Kilgore Resident Leona Grace Beach Passes Away at 96

Leona Grace Beach, a beloved resident of Kilgore, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 96. Her family announced the news, highlighting her long life and the legacy she leaves behind.

Leona is survived by her children, Dan Beach and his wife Cheryl of Kilgore, Clifton “Clif” Beach and his wife Stacey of Hesperus, Colorado, and Lanae Beach of Grapevine, Texas. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who will remember her fondly.

A Life Rich in Family and Memories

Throughout her life, Leona was known for her warmth and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Beach, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage, as well as her son, Ronald L. Beach, and her granddaughter, Caren D. Beach. Each of these losses deeply impacted her family, who are now coming together to celebrate her life.

Leona’s family has expressed their gratitude for the many years they shared with her, reflecting on her role as a matriarch who nurtured and guided them through life’s challenges. Her spirit will live on through the stories and memories created over the years.
