YouTube TV Unveils Major Updates with New Sports Channels, UI Enhancements

URGENT UPDATE: YouTube TV just announced significant improvements for its users, aiming to strengthen its position in the competitive streaming market. The platform has surpassed 10 million subscribers as of 2025, a remarkable growth from 3 million in 2020, and is now enhancing its offerings ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics starting on February 6, 2026.

Despite these updates, some areas of the app still lack the new design language, with older icons visible in the Library and Home tabs. Nevertheless, the improvements are expected to significantly boost user satisfaction, especially among the mobile-first audience.

Another promotional deal provides new users with a reduced rate of $67.99 for five months, down from the standard price of $82.99.
