UPDATE: A devastating multi-vehicle collision on Highway 87 in San Jose has left two dead, including an adult and a child, following a fiery crash yesterday morning around 10:50 a.m.. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has confirmed the fatalities and is actively investigating the incident, which involved multiple vehicles, including Teslas and a Lexus.
The horrific accident occurred just north of Curtner Avenue, leading to a chaotic scene that left the northbound lanes blocked for several hours. Traffic was severely disrupted, stretching back to Capitol Expressway, before the roadway was cleared and reopened by 3:45 p.m..
