The game, held in Knoxville, TN on November 12, 2023, showcased Tennessee’s dominance right from the start. Despite ten turnovers, Coppin State managed to keep their deficit within reach at 23-15 at the end of the first quarter.
However, Tennessee quickly extended their advantage, pushing the lead to 20 points just over six minutes into the second quarter, ultimately leading 45-21 at halftime. The Lady Vols continued their onslaught, outscoring the Eagles 21-4 in the final quarter.
