JUST ANNOUNCED: Sloat Garden Center’s winter gift market will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 13 at its Kentfield location, 700 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Attendees can enjoy warm drinks, live holiday jazz performances, and free activities for children, including face painting and a scavenger hunt. Local artisans will showcase their crafts, offering everything from fresh-cut trees to handmade jewelry and textiles.
Participants in a succulent wreath-making workshop at Sloat Garden Center can reserve their spot for $100. The workshop starts at 1 p.m. and requires advance reservations. Jen Strobel, design manager at Sloat, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “The make-and-take wreath is a perfect way to add some personalized style to your holiday decor.”
In Tiburon, floral designer Natalie Bowen returns to lead two winter wreath workshops on December 12 at 3 p.m. and December 13 at 10 a.m. at Ground, located at 1520 Tiburon Blvd. Each workshop costs $185 and includes all materials. Attendees will also receive a discount on additional purchases made that day.
