He served as a platoon leader and company commander with the 63rd Armored Battalion, 1st Infantry Division from 1964 to 1966. His educational journey began at Norwich University, leading to various leadership roles, including presidencies at Berkshire Community College and Frederick Community College.
After his time at LCCC, Dr. Larson embraced what he called his “dream job” as President of Ocean County College in Toms River, where he served for over two decades. His legacy as an advocate for higher education and community development resonates strongly within the academic community.
