Carson’s Clean N Green Fest Launches This Weekend—Don’t Miss Out!

URGENT UPDATE: The inaugural Clean N Green Fest is happening this weekend in Carson, promising a vital opportunity for community members to engage with environmental education. Hosted by the Clean Waters Education Foundation, this exciting event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility, located at 24501 S. Figueroa St.

Why does this matter NOW? This event is a chance for attendees to explore the inner workings of the largest wastewater treatment plant in Los Angeles County, which processes over 200 million gallons of water daily. Participants will be able to take guided tours of the facility, gaining firsthand insight into crucial water treatment processes.

In addition to educational tours, the event will feature the innovative Pure Water Napolitano Innovation Center and the scenic Bixby Marshland. Families can enjoy a host of activities, including a mobile aquarium, live music, face painting, and more, making it a perfect outing for all ages.

Please note that parking will be available offsite at the Wilmington Athletic Complex parking lot, located at 1700 S. Figueroa St., with shuttle services provided to transport guests to and from the event. Accessible parking options will also be available on-site.
