Beloved Community Leader Pam Francisco Passes Away at 100

URGENT UPDATE: Pam Francisco, a cherished community figure known for her generosity and culinary talents, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on April 3, 1925, in Cumberland, Wisconsin, Pam dedicated her life to helping others, making an indelible impact on her community.

Pam’s legacy is defined by her unwavering commitment to service. For years, she volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital, hosted local Cub Scout meetings, and participated in numerous community fundraisers, all while sharing her passion for cooking. Her kitchen was a haven of love and tradition, where family and friends gathered to enjoy her legendary recipes and delightful treats. Pam’s meals were not just about food; they were about connection and nurturing bonds that lasted a lifetime.

Pam Francisco’s quick wit and infectious sense of humor remained sharp well into her later years, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Russ and Greg (Nancy) Francisco, alongside five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pam was preceded in death by her beloved son, Craig Francisco, and twelve siblings.

A celebration of Pam’s life is set for November 1, 2025, at the Cremation Society in Duluth. The visitation begins at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy and share in food and fellowship.
