Austin Police Urgently Seek Leads in Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

UPDATE: The Austin Police Department is urgently seeking information regarding a deadly hit-and-run incident that occurred on October 21, where a pedestrian tragically lost their life. The incident unfolded around 9 p.m. on West Parmer Lane, near Interstate 35 and Center Lake Drive.

Authorities report that at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, with one driver striking the pedestrian. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene, prompting a swift investigation.

Police describe the suspect vehicle as either an SUV or a crossover, believed to have sustained damage to the lower front left side, along with blood on the left front tire. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound in the 800 block of West Parmer Lane.
