BREAKING NEWS: Antonino “Tony” Morici, Sr., aged 78, has passed away on December 10, 2025, at his home in Palmer Township, PA, surrounded by his beloved family. The community mourns the loss of the cherished proprietor of Morici’s Restaurant, a local favorite known for its authentic Italian cuisine.
Born on August 23, 1947, in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, Tony was a dedicated husband to his wife of 54 years, Maria (Galati) Morici. He was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and The Holy Cross Society. His culinary skills not only delighted patrons but also brought joy to family gatherings where he often prepared delicious homemade dishes.
Tony was a family man at heart, treasuring time spent with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Frank Morici and his wife Meghan of Nazareth, PA; Santo Morici and his wife Ashley of Gainesville, GA; and Anthony “Nino” Morici, Jr. and his wife Bobbie of Palmer Township. He is also survived by his sister, Giovanna Galati and nine cherished grandchildren: Nino, Sammy, Dominic, Natalie, Santino, Madelyn, Gianna, Luciano, and Colton.
The community is invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA. An additional opportunity to honor Tony will occur on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 520 Cedarville Road, Easton, PA.
