Annual Arts & Crafts Show Moves to New Venue, Promises Holiday Cheer

UPDATE: The Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is set to take place at a new location this year, bringing joy and holiday spirit to Sterling, Massachusetts. Shoppers are invited to explore over 50 vendors at the Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle Schools, located at 32 Boutelle Road, on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event, which has gained immense popularity, will offer a diverse array of high-quality, handmade gifts crafted by local artisans. “The new venue allows space for even more artists and craftspeople,” said Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair. With convenient parking and spacious cafeterias, attendees can browse an expanded selection of unique items.

Returning artisans will showcase a wide variety of products including alpaca goods, aromatherapy, beach glass art, skincare items, and more. New this year are delectable offerings such as maple syrup, pet portraits, olive oil, and candles in vintage teacups. The fair will also feature beloved traditions like a bake sale, cheese sale, raffle, and lunch café.

Admission is just $2, with all proceeds going to support programs at the Conant Public Library. Each shopper will receive a “Passport” that can be stamped in three locations for a chance to win exciting prizes.

This year’s event is co-sponsored by All One Credit Union. Although vendor spaces are full, artisans interested in joining a waiting list for next year’s show can reach out to Beth Cyr at [email protected].
