URGENT UPDATE: In a decisive crackdown, law enforcement officials have arrested 11 individuals and seized 10 firearms during the latest phase of Operation Consequences, a targeted initiative aimed at curbing crime across San Bernardino County. The operation unfolded from October 27 to November 2, 2025, with significant enforcement actions in Hesperia.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that this operation involved a coordinated effort among various law enforcement agencies, including patrol deputies and investigators from the Sheriff’s Gangs/Narcotics Division. A total of eight search warrants were executed, leading to the arrests of 10 felony suspects and one misdemeanor suspect.
Authorities took aim at gang members and individuals prohibited from firearm possession. This operation underscores the urgency to address rising crime rates and the presence of illegal firearms in the community. The San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) also played a pivotal role, conducting proactive patrols in Yucaipa and nearby areas to bolster these efforts.
