Topps has announced that the preorder for its highly anticipated Bowman Draft 2025 will begin on December 15, 2025. This release is particularly exciting for collectors, as it will feature the coveted “1st Bowman” cards for many promising players from the 2025 MLB Draft class. The preorder indicates that the official release is likely to occur in mid-January, which is approximately six weeks later than the previous year’s release on December 4, 2024.
While a complete checklist of the cards has yet to be made public, early product images confirm several notable players will be included. Among them is Eli Willits, the No. 1 overall draft pick. Other confirmed early draft picks include Tyler Bremner of the Angels (No. 2), Kade Anderson of the Mariners (No. 3), Liam Doyle of the Cardinals (No. 5), JoJo Parker of the Blue Jays (No. 8), and Billy Carlson of the White Sox (No. 10). Notably absent from these early images is a card for Ethan Holliday, the No. 4 overall pick. It remains uncertain whether collectors will need to wait until the 2026 Bowman Draft for his first card.
Returning Features and Pricing Details
The early product images also suggest the return of several popular insert sets, including Crystalized, Spotlight, and In Action. However, Topps has yet to confirm additional inserts, case hits, or significant chase cards. Last year’s Bowman Draft featured a much sought-after Tom Brady insert, while previous releases included cards featuring John Elway.
As of now, pricing information for the upcoming release remains unannounced. The previous year’s Bowman Draft was available in three formats: Hobby boxes, which included three autographs starting at $519.99; Jumbo boxes with five autographs beginning at $739.99; and Breaker’s Delight boxes, which also contained three autographs and were sold exclusively by secondary retailers.
The week beginning on December 15, 2025, is set to be significant for fans and collectors of 2025 draft prospects. In addition to the Bowman Draft preorder, the Panini Prospect Edition 2025 is expected to launch on December 17, 2025, which will include a card for Ethan Holliday.
