Methacton High School’s boys basketball team secured its 11th consecutive victory on January 10, 2026, narrowly defeating Pottsgrove 64-63. Wes Robinson delivered a standout performance, scoring a game-high 22 points, while teammate John Leet contributed 19 points. Leet’s two free throws in the final moments of the game were crucial, effectively sealing the win for the Warriors.
Mason Conrad added 13 points for Methacton, which now boasts a record of 12 wins and 3 losses overall. The team is poised to conclude its Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) crossover schedule with a home game against Phoenixville on Tuesday night.
On the other side, Pottsgrove, now standing at 7-7, saw Ezai Jones shine with his best offensive game of the season, netting 21 points. Chance Rosenberger and Greg Rosenberger supported with 19 and 12 points respectively. The Falcons are set to face Pope John Paul II, another team on a winning streak, in their upcoming match.

In another exciting match, Phoenixville triumphed over Great Valley with a score of 55-52. Keron Booth Jr. led the Phantoms with an impressive 25 points, including seven three-pointers. Stephen Yurick contributed 10 points, aiding Phoenixville as they bounced back from a previous loss.
Perkiomen Valley dominated Pennridge, winning 66-36, thanks to Kyle Tracey’s five three-pointers that helped him secure a game-high 20 points. Ty Hoppenwasser and Will Stein each scored 11 points for the Vikings, who are now 9-4 and will face Pottstown on Tuesday.
Pottstown finally broke its seven-game losing streak, edging out School of the Future 75-73. Elias Butler led the Trojans with 23 points, supported by Jahmir Jackson with 18 points. The victory gives Pottstown a 6-9 overall record.
Boyertown faced a tough loss against Oley Valley, falling 52-46. Cooper Rath put up 14 points and seven rebounds, but it was not enough to secure a win. The Bears will look to improve their record, currently at 4-11, when they take on Upper Perkiomen on Tuesday.

On the girls’ side, Perkiomen Valley overcame Ridley 55-43, led by Scarlett Lee with 10 points. The Vikings are now 11-3 and will play their final crossover game against Norristown.
Methacton’s girls team also emerged victorious, beating Mount Saint Joseph Academy 57-49. Ava Wolf shone with 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Penny Wolf added 17 points. The Lady Warriors, now 8-6, will face Pope John Paul II next.
Boyertown’s girls team secured a 51-39 win against Oley Valley. Rhian Harper scored 22 points, helping the Bears improve their record to 4-10, with another game against Upper Perkiomen on the horizon.
Cumberland Valley edged Spring-Ford 59-54, with Miley Maloney scoring 18 points. The Rams, now 9-3, will look to bounce back in their upcoming match against Pottsgrove.
