The establishment of the Digital Center marks BWXT’s strategic entry into Florida’s Space Coast, a location known for its robust pool of engineering and digital talent. As a Fortune 1000 company, BWXT employs around 10,000 individuals and specializes in providing nuclear technologies and services that support defense, clean energy, space exploration, nuclear medicine, and environmental restoration.

Company officials stated that the Melbourne Digital Center will play a crucial role in streamlining operations and improving decision-making within BWXT’s nuclear and defense sectors.
