Red Bluff Rotary Honors Elli Nolan as Student of the Month

Elli Nolan, a junior at Red Bluff High School, has been recognized as the Red Bluff Rotary Student of the Month for October 2023. This accolade is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and contribute positively to their school community. Nolan was chosen for her dedication to her studies and her aspirations to pursue a career in the medical field, specifically working with children.

Her teachers have praised her for her bright personality and commitment to learning. Dan Penner, one of her instructors, highlighted her preparedness and enthusiasm in class. “Elli is always eager to learn and consistently helps those around her, making her a valuable asset to both myself and her peers,” he stated.

Another teacher, Dave Michael, who teaches science at the school, expressed similar sentiments. “Elli exceeds expectations in every aspect. Her insights and thoroughness in her work are commendable. She also brings a contagious energy to the classroom, enhancing the learning experience for everyone.”

In addition, Alisa Pelanconi, another of Nolan’s teachers, noted her organizational skills and dedication. “Elli consistently brings her best self to class and has a wonderful sense of humor. She enriches the classroom environment for both teachers and students alike,” Pelanconi remarked.

As part of her recognition, Nolan will receive a framed certificate and a monetary award of $100. This honor not only reflects her academic achievements but also acknowledges her role as a positive influence within the school community.
