Join the 2026 Southern Coastal Charm Tour with WSCC Alumni Association

The Wallace State Community College Alumni Association has announced that spots remain open for its upcoming 2026 Southern Coastal Charm Tour. Scheduled for March 16–20, 2026, this five-day journey will take participants to the beautiful coastal destinations of Beaufort and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Importantly, the tour is accessible to the public, welcoming anyone interested, not just alumni or former students of the institution.

Tour Highlights and Itinerary

Organizers have ensured that all planning and logistics are meticulously arranged, allowing travelers to concentrate on enjoying the experience. The itinerary encompasses a variety of activities that showcase the unique culture and history of South Carolina’s Lowcountry.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore Beaufort, a coastal city famed for its historic streets, antebellum homes, and moss-draped live oaks. The tour includes accommodations for four nights in Beaufort, nine meals, motorcoach transportation, guided tours, luggage handling, the services of a tour director, and most gratuities.

Notable activities on the schedule include a horse-drawn carriage tour of Beaufort, highlighting significant landmarks and film locations. Additionally, participants will visit the Parris Island Museum where lunch will be served on base. Other planned excursions include a tour of the Kazoobie Kazoo Factory and a guided visit to the Penn Center, which focuses on Gullah heritage. The itinerary also features a dolphin and wildlife spotting boat cruise and a visit to the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island, complemented by authentic local dining experiences.

Pricing and Registration Details

The pricing structure for the tour is designed to accommodate various preferences. For members of the Alumni Association, costs are set at $1,299 per person for single occupancy, $999 for double occupancy, and $899 for triple occupancy. Non-members can join for an additional $100 per person, with annual membership available for $30.
