Families Celebrate Holiday Spirit at Zumbro Valley Christmas Trees

Families flocked to Zumbro Valley Christmas Trees on December 6, 2025, to select their ideal Christmas tree while enjoying hot cocoa and a festive atmosphere. The establishment has been a cherished part of the community for ten years, offering a variety of tree species, including Blue Spruce, White Pine, and Scotch Pine.

Owner Dave Blissenbach shared his inspiration for the business, citing his uncle, who has been cultivating Christmas trees near St. Cloud for over fifty years. Blissenbach himself has been planting trees at the farm for two decades, noting that it takes approximately eight to ten years for a tree to reach maturity.

As families sought their perfect tree, the atmosphere was filled with joy. “We have a few people who have been with us that whole time,” Blissenbach reflected. “We see the young families as they grow and their kids get a little bigger each year. Everybody’s always in a good mood when they’re getting a Christmas tree, and it’s just a lot of fun to be able to be a part of that and help them make a memory for their families.”

The farm is open on Saturdays and Sundays through December 14, 2025, providing a festive retreat for those looking to create lasting holiday memories. Community members appreciate the wholesome experience that Zumbro Valley Christmas Trees offers, combining the joy of choosing a tree with the warmth of seasonal traditions.

With the holiday season in full swing, Zumbro Valley Christmas Trees remains a significant attraction for families in the area, making it a must-visit location for those seeking to embrace the spirit of Christmas.
