Alan Joseph Rattee Sr. of Loudon/Northfield, New Hampshire, passed away on January 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of community involvement and family devotion. He was born in Vermont to parents Raymie Rattee and Jean Adams Rattee-Silver (William Silver). Rattee was known not only for his dedication to his family but also for his active participation in local athletics.
As a father, Alan is survived by his children, including Christopher Brown, Raimee Rattee, and Alan Rattee Jr., as well as his late daughter, Sarah Aschbrenner. He was also a proud grandfather of three and a beloved sibling to Carol Rattee-Roy, Donna Rattee, Kelly Mastine, and the late Steve Rattee. Additionally, he was an uncle to many nieces and nephews, reflecting a family-oriented life.
Alan’s contributions to the community extended beyond his role as a father. He attended Merrimack Valley High School and served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his military service, he worked as a fire sprinkler system installer, continuing a family tradition in the trade. His commitment to local sports was evident in his involvement with Blue Storm Sports and the Tilton School, where he supported young athletes.
Alan was a devoted Christian, and his family takes comfort in knowing he rests in peace in the Kingdom of God. A celebration of his life is scheduled to take place at Alan’s Restaurant in Boscawen, New Hampshire, on February 12, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00. Friends and community members are invited to pay their respects and share their memories.
