Lainey Wilson Joins Star-Studded Lineup for 2025 Macy’s Parade

Lainey Wilson, fresh off her multiple wins at the 2025 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, is set to perform at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Announced on November 20, the country star will take the stage in front of the iconic Herald Square in Manhattan, contributing to a lineup that already promises to be spectacular.

Wilson’s recent accolades include the coveted Album of the Year award for her album Whirlwind, which she celebrated at the CMA ceremony where she also served as host. Her performance at the parade will mark another high point in what has been a remarkable year for the artist.

Joining Wilson will be a diverse array of performers, including Cynthia Erivo, and Kpop artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI. Additionally, the parade will showcase Broadway casts from productions such as Buena Vista Social Club, Just in Time, and Ragtime. Other notable participants include the Rockettes, Matteo Bocelli, Colbie Caillat, Ciara, Debbie Gibson, and Busta Rhymes.

The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcast live, starting at 08:30 across all time zones on NBC and Peacock. This annual event, known for its vibrant floats and giant character balloons, will also feature the traditional sleigh carrying Santa Claus, delighting viewers of all ages.

While details about Wilson’s specific song selection remain under wraps, there is speculation that she may perform a track from her holiday-themed EP, Peace, Love and Cowboys (Holiday Edition), which includes a new rendition of “Let It Snow!” in collaboration with the late Bing Crosby. Alternatively, she might choose to showcase a track from her award-winning album Whirlwind, further celebrating her recent CMA successes.

The parade, hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker, promises to be a memorable event, drawing millions of viewers as the festive season kicks off. As anticipation builds, Lainey Wilson’s performance is poised to be a highlight of the holiday celebration.
