Kristin Cavallari Dines with Utah Jazz Coach Will Hardy in Nashville

Kristin Cavallari recently confirmed that she went on a date with Will Hardy, the head coach of the Utah Jazz, earlier this year. The outing took place in Nashville and marked Cavallari’s initial foray back into the dating scene after a period of focus on her personal and professional life.

The date occurred “many months ago,” according to a source familiar with the situation. While the two met for dinner, the connection did not develop further. “It was one date and that was it,” the insider stated, adding that Cavallari “never saw him again.”

In an episode of her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” released in October, Cavallari shared her thoughts on returning to dating. She expressed that she felt ready to meet someone new, stating, “I literally said to the universe, ‘I’m ready to go on a date.’” The very next day, her agent arranged the meeting with Hardy, who she described as “a big deal” despite initially being unaware of his prominence.

Cavallari elaborated on the experience, saying, “He flew to Nashville, took me to dinner, such a great guy.” Despite enjoying their conversation, she ultimately felt a lack of alignment. “I know after the first date if I’m going to like someone or not,” she said. “I was trying to make it work, but everything in me was telling me not to.”

Focus on Family and Career

Cavallari’s recent date with Hardy follows a deliberate decision to pause her dating life this year. She mentioned wanting to concentrate on her work, particularly in the lead-up to her podcast tour, and to spend quality time with her three children: Camden (13), Jaxon (11), and Saylor (9), whom she shares with ex-husband and former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.

Previously, in December, Cavallari disclosed that she had been dating retired NHL player Nate Thompson, describing him as “such a good guy” who “checks all the boxes” for her. During an April podcast episode, she revealed more about their relationship, calling it “the most honest, pure, amazing relationship I’ve ever had.” Despite their deep connection, the long-distance aspect ultimately contributed to their separation earlier this year.

Cavallari reflected on the challenges of maintaining a relationship under such circumstances, saying, “It wasn’t like we didn’t have fun. I just didn’t want to be in a relationship.”

A New Chapter Ahead

As she navigates her personal life, Cavallari is also gearing up for the upcoming reunion of “Laguna Beach,” which is set to air next year. She recently traveled to Orange County, California, to film the special alongside cast members Lauren Conrad and Stephen Colletti.

While her dating life has not been a focal point in recent months, Cavallari expressed enthusiasm about the future. “I don’t know the last time I talked about my dating life. Probably because my dating life was nonexistent this whole year until recently, and now it’s really picked back up,” she noted on her podcast. With her career and family at the forefront, Cavallari appears to be optimistic about what lies ahead.
