Drama Unfolds in Summer House Season 10 with New and Old Rivalries

The upcoming season 10 of *Summer House* promises to deliver a whirlwind of drama and unexpected twists as cast members reflect on their personal journeys. In exclusive interviews with *Us Weekly*, the cast revealed insights into their evolving relationships and the new dynamics that will unfold over the summer.

A significant focus of the new season revolves around the recent separation of long-time couple Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, who announced their split on January 19. While their relationship drew attention, it is not the only source of tension. Lindsay Hubbard noted the milestone, stating, “The fact that I have a kid and that we somehow come up with new things to talk about every year is even crazier.”

One of the most anticipated storylines involves a physical confrontation between Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke, as teased in promotional materials. Reflecting on the incident, Carl explained that it was a culmination of the summer’s events. “It was a build-up of the entire summer,” he shared. “It’s a roller-coaster … then it starts getting crazy.” Fellow cast member Jesse Solomon indicated the fight stemmed from Kyle’s impulsive comments, admitting, “It was a very unpredictable outburst.”

The dynamics between Ciara Miller and her ex, West Wilson, also add layers of complexity. Despite their tumultuous history in previous seasons, West described the current relationship as “a melting pot of emotions.” He acknowledged moments of flirtation with Ciara, while also noting the involvement of Jesse, who has his own connection with her. “I don’t know how this is going to shake out either,” West admitted.

As the cast navigates new friendships and old flames, Amanda expressed her role in creating a lively atmosphere, likening her experience to living her own “version of *Love Island*.” She stated, “There was sexual tension, flirtiness, banter, fighting. … There’s a lot that happens this summer.”

New faces will also join the mix, including Mia Calabrese, a broker and Ciara’s close friend. Other newcomers like Ben Waddell, a former star of *The Bachelor: Australia*, and KJ Dillard, a former professional skateboarder, are set to shake things up. Jesse highlighted Ben’s charm, describing him as “really special” and “so for the boys,” while Carl found a connection with KJ, noting, “He definitely brings a younger energy.”

Lindsay, who welcomed her daughter Gemma between seasons, confirmed her limited filming schedule but hinted at a larger presence as the season progresses. “I think it was, like, half guiding and then half stirring the pot,” she explained. The interactions between her and Carl, who share a past engagement, will be closely watched as they navigate their friendship.

Reflecting on their relationship, Carl remarked on the positive evolution, stating, “You’ll see us get closer and more cordial and even get some more closure, perhaps.” Lindsay added, “I kind of live in a gray area,” indicating the complexities of maintaining relationships in the reality television environment.

As viewers prepare for the premiere, Amanda cautions that the season will reveal far more than what has been shown in trailers. With a mixture of old rivalries and budding romances, season 10 of *Summer House* is set to be a captivating exploration of friendship, love, and the challenges of living together under one roof.
