The 72nd annual Boyertown Halloween Parade took place on October 18, 2025, attracting a large crowd eager to celebrate the local tradition. Hosted by the Boyertown Area Historical Society, this event has been a staple of the community since its inception in 1912. This year’s parade featured a vibrant display of floats and costumed participants representing various local businesses and organizations.
Adriane Zapien, chairperson of the Boyertown Halloween Parade, expressed her satisfaction with the event, stating, “This was a great year. We even added the Get’z Steam Calliope to end the parade.” The inclusion of this unique musical float enhanced the festive atmosphere, leaving attendees delighted.
A variety of cash prizes were awarded to the top entries in several categories, showcasing the creativity and talent of local participants. In the category of Best Float, the winners were as follows:
– 1st place: H&K Group – Titanic
– 2nd place: Eddinger Propane – Pumpkin Spice
– 3rd place: First Response Contracting – Nightmare Before Christmas
In addition to floats, the parade highlighted group performances, with Studios on Main taking 1st place for their entry themed around the film Avatar. Other notable performances included:

– 3rd place: Boyertown Optimist Cheer
Costumes were another significant aspect of the celebration. Laurie Bossler won 1st place in the Most Creative Costume or Theme category for her portrayal of the Boyertown Granny Club. The other winners in this category included:

– 3rd place: Dominic Danielle – Spooky Kids
The Best Marching Unit category also recognized local talent, with the following results:
– 1st place: Boyertown Area Senior High Marching Unit
– 2nd place: Boyertown Legionettes
– 3rd place: Boyertown Middle School East and West
For Best Represented Business or Organization, Sacks and Sons claimed 1st place with their float titled The Great Pumpkin. The other winners were:
– 2nd place: Once and Done – Creeping Thru the Night
– 3rd place: T’s Trimming – Festive Fall
