Guozi Robotics Transforms Hithium’s Texas Factory with Smart Tech

On December 10, 2025, Hithium’s manufacturing facility in Texas, USA, achieved significant milestones with its transition to “mass production and delivery.” The factory, which spans 480,000 square feet and represents an investment of nearly $200 million, is set to produce 10GWh of battery modules and systems annually. This achievement has been made possible through a comprehensive logistics solution provided by Guozi Robotics.

Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Logistics

Guozi Robotics has equipped the Hithium plant with over a hundred intelligent logistics robots, including reach truck automated guided vehicles (AGVs), mini stacker robots, underride lifting robots, and heavy-duty transport robots. These robots are designed to enhance the efficiency of the facility’s entire logistics system.

Among the advanced equipment supplied are high-bay racking systems, electrically controlled buffer racks, overhead cranes, and automatic doors. The reach truck AGV stands out with a load capacity of 1.2 tons and a lifting height of 7 meters. It also features a high docking accuracy of ±10 mm for storage positions, facilitating seamless operation with material carts and production line machinery.

The facility’s heavy-duty transport robot is capable of handling loads up to 60 tons with a positioning accuracy of ±10 mm. All robots involved in this project have successfully obtained UL certification, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Innovative Implementation Model

In a notable advancement, Guozi Robotics employed an “integrated delivery” model to streamline the implementation process. This approach addressed challenges typically encountered in large-scale overseas intelligent logistics projects, such as cargo transfer and engineering commissioning. The company conducted integrated debugging and testing of logistics robots, equipment, production lines, and docking systems in China, in accordance with the on-site planning process. Once completed, the entire logistics system was packaged and shipped as a unit, ready for immediate deployment at the project site.

This innovative strategy reduced the overall implementation cycle by 30% compared to similar projects, allowing for rapid commissioning. Guozi Robotics has been expanding its global operations since 2016, with a presence in various countries across North America, South America, Europe, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. The company has established large-scale applications in over ten industries, including e-commerce, automotive manufacturing, construction machinery, and retail.

The successful collaboration between Guozi Robotics and Hithium marks a significant step towards the future of intelligent manufacturing and logistics, showcasing the potential of advanced robotics in enhancing operational efficiency.
