Explore Creative Play at Itty-Bitty Art Program for Infants

The Carter Museum in Dallas-Fort Worth is set to launch its monthly program, Itty-Bitty Art, designed specifically for children aged 24 months and younger alongside their caregivers. The event aims to provide a joyful and engaging environment where infants can explore sensory play inspired by the museum’s colorful artworks.

Each session of Itty-Bitty Art will take place in a cozy setting, encouraging interaction and creativity. Participants can look forward to a morning filled with vibrant activities centered around the theme of blue, drawing inspiration from the museum’s collection. This initiative not only fosters artistic appreciation at a young age but also supports developmental skills through play.

The program is free of charge and welcomes all families with infants. To ensure inclusivity, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided upon advance request. Interested attendees can contact the museum via email at [email protected] for more details about the event and ASL accommodations.

Registration for Itty-Bitty Art will open on January 1, 2026, allowing families to secure their spots for this unique experience. Presented by Primrose Schools, the program seeks to enrich the lives of young children and their families through art and community engagement.

As part of its commitment to early childhood development, the Carter Museum continues to explore innovative ways to connect art with everyday experiences. Families are encouraged to join this initiative, making memories and fostering creativity in a welcoming atmosphere.
